Hi! Is someone at Etsy able to review my message response score? The only messages I’ve didn’t respond to were from Etsy themselves and from another seller marketing to me. I responded immediately to all customers. 🥺
@WindRiverStitchery: Probably everyone in this forum can sympathize with you but there are innumerable threads about the exact same issue in this forum. As it says right on your Star Seller page, you need to reply to the FIRST message of EVERY NEW INCOMING THREAD. It does not matter who sent it, the subject matter, if it is a duplicate or blank or anything else. If it is SPAM then it should be marked as such.
If the unanswered message is not a Help Request, at least for the time being, it appears that marking an unanswered message as SPAM (even after the 24 hour deadline has passed) will cause your reply percentage to change in a day or two if the original message was within the current star seller period (but not retroactively). Note that subsequent messages from that account may go directly to the SPAM folder.
Its the seller marketing email-mark it as spam. You have to respond to ALL emails, the software doesn't differentiate between sellers and buyers.
For the seller message - go back and mark as spam.

It's getting so hard to not just say "read the rules". We're 2 years into this and the rules have remained the same.
We have to respond to ALL MESSAGES - whether they are from BUYER OR SELLER.
Or, you can risk upsetting a potential buyer or seller by marking the messages as SPAM.
