Star Seller Issue

Hi, I was told twice now by Etsy support that my account should have the star seller badge and it is still not showing.  I have no idea what to do as the support reps said they can't do anything and that its a technical problem.  Then no one that works on technical issues gets back to me.

@BlushBunnyDesign   You don’t have any of the badges.  How do you qualify as a star seller?

You have no badges at all which means you did not meet the $300 minimum

That’s the problem. The badges are not updating.

Have you been on Etsy long enough to qualify?

When was your first sale? Has it been at least 90 days since your first sale?

If not then that is why. You aren't eligible for the star or any badges until 90 days from first sale.

"How your shop is evaluated for the Star Seller badge

Messages, shipping, ratings, orders, and sales are calculated to determine Star Seller. In order to be evaluated, you need to have been on Etsy’s platform for 90 days since your first sale and comply with applicable policies, including our Seller Policy  and our Terms of Use ."

First sale was in August. Definitely checked all the boxes. I went through the seller handbook a few times and my account was verified by Etsy to be eligible but apparently not updating

Your first review was left on the 19th Sep.  If that was your first sale, it is likely the sale occurred in early Sept.  If so, your first sale was less than 90 days from the Dec badge calculation and you were therefore not eligible at that time.  Good news is, you should be eligible for the badge on Jan 1 as long as you meet all the other criteria.
