Star Seller Error Shipping Calculation

I got points deducted from my perfect shipping record because the shipping date was calculated on a Sunday and the USPS does not open on a Sunday. So it registered me as sending out the package late even though I sent it on the next business day.  How can I get this fixed?

You can't get it fixed, but you can extend the shipping date for the order it if that happens again. Shipping times should be extended if it falls on postal holidays, as well.

@YouniqueBest: Unfortunately you are caught between a rock and a hard place. If the listing had a processing time then Etsy should have allowed for the weekend and made the ship by date the Monday, but when you see that the ship by date is a day when you can not ship (weekend, postal holiday, etc) you need to change the scheduled ship date. We are lucky that we have a USPS facility that is open on Sundays so we can get our packages scanned and shipped seven days a week but now Etsy has taken away Sundays as an allowable completed date so we have to watch carefully for miscalculations. We find that Etsy often miscalculates late in the day weekend orders, probably due to time zone issues.

Don't know if it will do any good, but you might want to contact Etsy. They have been correcting some issues with shipping errors. But make sure that the listing (and applicable shipping profile if you use them) have the processing time correctly set up.

It appears that you've updated the ship-by-date of this order, however, the new ship date is on Sunday. As of the moment, ship-by-date can only be updated once. Moving forward, we strongly recommend updating the ship-by-date to the actual date wherein you will ship the order. You may also visit this Help Article for more information about the Ship By date.
