Star Seller Earned, but Not Showing

Hello,

I made well over $300 in sales during the past few months and earned all of the badges to get star seller. I did not earn the status, but several people I know who did NOT meet the goals did get an email saying they got star seller. This appears to be a technical issue, can Etsy look into this please?

When was your first sale?

You are not eligible for Star Seller until the 1st of the month after 90 days after your first sale

So your first sale would have had to be in September to get Star seller on Jan 1st

Star Seller is calculated and awarded only on the 1st of each month, and on that day it must have been more than 90 days since your first sale, then you need to have met the order quantity and volume requirements during the preceding three month period, and only then are the other metrics considered. I got the email saying I was a star seller and I knew I wasn't.  I lacked the $300 dollars though I qualifed for the badges.

Etsy doesn't do a good job with their emails at times.

I met all of the requirements for star Seller and it is not showing up. Can this please be fixed?

@AllieEtCie: What do your stats say on the 'previous review period' tab of your Customer Satisfaction page (which has the stats for the May 1st badges and Star)?

Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).

Everything is 100%. Response rate, reviews are all 5 star, quick shipping and good sales. So I am perplexed. Although , honestly, I don’t really think the star seller makes much of a difference.

Did you meet the 300 for the last 3 months, and 5 sales.

I made over the 5 sales. I will have to go back and calculate amount sold… if I was under the amount it would only have been by a tish…but that would have made the difference. Although I have made it before when sales have barely missed the mark. Again, I was just curious.  I don’t really think it makes a difference in our sales. As long as we have good reviews, response times and timely shipping. Thank you all for your input. Too bad Etsy is so bad with replying to questions and when finally answered always “boiler plate” responses.

Since you don't have any of the SS badges showing, you probably didn't meet the $300 minimum.
