Hello,
I was under the impression etsy would know if I received multiple messages from the same buyer, and it wouldn't count against me. However, this was not the case this month. Is there a known fix, or workaround going forward? I've marked the message as spam, but I'm curious if anything else can be done to rectify or prevent it from happening in the future. -signed, a proud star seller
@overtheheadthreads: New messages from the same account (a buyer may have multiple accounts) are supposed to be appended to an existing thread if there is one - with some exceptions such as Help Requests which always start a new thread. Did the messages not have the "New Message" advisory on them?
As far as any of us know, there is no fix for this, sorry. All Messages (even multiples), which are not Initiated by you, must be answered or Marked as Spam. I didn't have any this year, but in the past I've said, "Heading on over to your other Message" (or something similar).

Thank you, I didnt realize Help Requests fell under an exception, but that makes sense- I'll keep that in mind for next month, bummer!!

Thank you!! I will make sure to keep this in mind when my customers send out multiple help requests! I really appreciate the info
