Star Seller Discrepancy

My Star Seller as not been calculated correctly.  It says that the orders weren't dispatched/processed in time.

Both orders were sent using Etsy Shipping Labels and both items were sent out when they should have been.

Can you please correct this for me.

We are just sellers  here. You will have to contact Etsy. Go to Help on your dashboard

The people on the forum aren't Etsy support staff. All we can do is share opinions and advice.

Download the star seller shipping CSV and find the order that was marked as not shipped on time.

Some of the possibilities are that the tracking number was entered incorrectly, that the carriers system didn't synch with Etsy's, that the item wasn't scanned and was stuck in pre-transit ... whatever it is, having the exact order will help when you contact and speak with Etsy support. It should also help you to understand what happened. It might be something you can prevent or doublecheck going forward.

"Can you please correct this for me." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

It is also weird. I have 1 issue with not shipping on time which the buyer cancelled  and Etsy sent me this forum as well.

It’s sounds like you only issued a full refund. But you also need to cancel the order.

@AlianabyDesign  A buyer does not have the ability to cancel a purchase. You must fully refund and also cancel.

The forums are peer to peer only. But there is this from Etsy:

This "How to Become a Star Seller" article includes the following highlighted paragraph:

"Etsy Support can’t make changes to your Star Seller data or manually award Star Seller badges. If you think your Star Seller score was calculated incorrectly, you can let us know in the Technical Issues forum."  

While an email response from Etsy may not direct a shop owner here to the forums, apparently Chat &/or call-back reps do that from time to time. 

As for the OP's problem, here in the US, using Etsy's labels automatically completes the order (& adds the tracking #). I don't know if this applies for shops in the UK too.
It's possible there could be a time delay in the stats updating. 
There could be an Etsy glitch. 

@Vontoon  - If you should contact Etsy again about the orders I'd suggest leaving the Star Seller out of the discussion. Concentrate on the issue that your orders, using Etsy Labels, are not updating correctly.
