I received an email stating I earned a Star Seller Customer Service Badge for August and it would be displayed on my shop all month. I haven’t seen it so I reached out to customer service where I was informed that it is for next month (even though my email states this month, and all metrics were where they need to be when the averages were updated/calculated)
What does the CSV say for May, June and July? Did you meet the $300 and 5 orders and then all the other metrics? If so then for August you should have the badge. If you are looking at the current stats that is only for June July as August has just started for September.
Funny thing I never got the email for star seller this month and I have it so I don't know how accurate the sending out of emails is for this..
I get it consistently in both shops and I have never received an email in either shop.
@ThePunchyPosey: This forum has had several other reports over the months of the 'Congratulations you are a Star Seller' eMail being sent in error.
As @PrimFun mentioned, you need to look at the previous period stats (which the August 1 star and badges were calculated on) to see what numbers Etsy used.
You don't have any of the badges which usually means you didn't achieve the 5 orders and $300 minimum. Check the 'Last review period' tab for details.
