Star Seller Badge?

I met all the criteria to earn the badge. The order criteria was met on August 31st. I still did not get Star Seller status - why? The 5th order was on the 31st at ~10pm EST, so before midnight. 

Chat support could not help me and asked me to raise a ticket.

I am not 100% positive but believe the last day does not count as the system takes time to update

Correct that the last 1 or 2 days of month don’t count. Not sure Etsy admits that but that is reality.

For Star Seller CSV data Etsy uses UTC time not local time

I believe 10 pm 31 August EST in Canada is 2 am 01 Sept UTC, so that Order will be attributed to September Sales, not August ones.

Star seller bits are in UTC time zone not your time zone.

Do they have this listed anywhere in the policy? I can't seem to find anything.

It won't really matter if the order isn't dated 8/31

If it isn't and is dated 9/1, then it will be counted this month not last month

@ArtInkorpor8d The fact that the SSP CSV data is calculated using UTC has been confimed in Forum Posts by Etsy Community Specialists.

Etsy likes to confuse us becausr there are 3 different timestamps (local, Brooklyn NY and UTC) which may apply

Etsy uses 2 for Shop Stats

"What timezone are my Stats shown in?

Hourly stats from today, yesterday, or the past two days are in your own time zone. All other time frames appear in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). You can change your time zone by clicking Update time zone at the bottom of Explore your data."
