Star Seller Badge

I am a star seller. Even though I replied within the 24 hour reply to sellers when they ordered an item, I did not earn a speedy reply badge. I make a big point of making sure I send them a message acknowledging their purchase. It says that there was “No eligible data”. That doesn’t make any sense to me!  I hope this problem can be fixed right away since I certainly complied with all that earns a star seller badge. I think it’s good that potential customers see that I reply quickly.

You are sending the message to the other seller?  That means they have to reply to keep their badge.

You don't send the message.  You reply to new messages they send you.   Or am I missing something.  

For star seller the only thing that matters is answering new messages sent to you.  That's what counts.

@SuncatchersEtc You seem to be saying that you are "replying" to Orders by sending every Buyer who places an Order a "Message".

Did you receive any messages from Buyers or other people during Sept, Oct and Nov?

These types of "Messages" are the ones Etsy looks at for the SSP "Messaging" Badge

"No Eligible Data" usually means you have had no messages received during the review period which you had to respond to.

Etsy has confirmed that Sellers with no Messages to reply to in the Review Period will NOT be penalized where the overasll Star Seller Badge is concerned.

What if I haven’t received any messages in the current review period? 

If you don’t receive any messages during the review period, the message response rate won’t be counted towards your Star Seller eligibility. You can still become a Star Seller based on the other Star Seller criteria. Once you receive an initial message, the message response rate will be applied toward your Star Seller eligibility, so be sure to reply within 24 hours.

@SuncatchersEtc Actually, You are a Star Seller for December. Etsy has awarded you the overall Star Seller Badge and the Reviews and Tracking ones. It has not awarded the individual Messages mini badge becuse you had no eligible data for that period. But Etsy has not penalized you for that.
