Star Seller Badge

Hello

I've got the badges for quick response to messages and fast dispatch but despite 4.8 review stars, I'm not awarded review badge and therefore, not the star seller award.

Can someone help me understand why is that?

You've had 71 reviews in the last period, totalling 325 stars.

325/71 = 4.57 average.

And Etsy rounds down. So for them a 4.57 rounds to a 4.5, not up to a 4.6 (like all other rounding we were taught in school)

You must have had enough non-5 star reviews between Aug/Sep/Oct that brought your average to 4.7 or less. They did change the criteria (so a 4 star no longer hurts as much as a 1 star), but you still need to have almost all 5 stars or it can quickly go down.

And likely the 4.8 you are seeing is your progress for the next one, not the current one. That has all month to change, and is issued on Dec 1.

@TipikalDesi: Your shop home page shows a 12 month average for reviews and Star Seller uses a three month period.

We've double-checked the reviews you've received from August - October 2022, and it appears that the average is at 4.7 from 69 reviews. To receive the 5-star rating badge, your rating average in the three-month review period must be 4.8. You can visit this Help Article for more information on how to check the reviews on your shop.
