Hello! Today id Dec 1st, today is not taken into account and calculations for January are from September 1 to November 30. And today I have projection for January 4.8. This means that the average that was made for January is now correct for December.

And their average is 4.8
But I see the only 4.7 on review badge.
Could you please tell me who can help me with this technical error?
You need to look at the 'Last Review Period' tab, just below the icons on the Star Seller page in your shop manager.
When the new period began on Dec 1, the badges were awarded based on Sep/Oct/Nov reviews. After the reset, all data associated with Sep drops off and the new period counts Oct/Nov/Dec. Your average will change based on the ratings of the Sep reviews which no longer count. You may have been at 4.8 immediately after the badge was awarded on Jan 1, but you were not there at the end of Nov. You can't "backdate" reviews received after the closing date of 30 Nov, even if the sales occurred in Nov. It counts the date they were left, not the date of the sale.
@VLCoJewelry: "calculations for January are from September 1 to November 30." What you see on your Star Seller page now is for the January star and badges which uses data from October, November, and December. The star and badges calculated and awarded on December 1st used data from September, October, and November (details on the previous period tab).
"This means that the average that was made for January is now correct for December." This is an incorrect conclusion because the data from September was included in the calculations for the December star and badges but not for the January star and badges.
Thank you for the reply!
But you can count manually

And their average is 4.8, not 4.7
I checked the math twice...the average is actually 4.75 not 4.8

88+5+4+3=100. That's a total of 100 reviews received.
If you add up all the stars received it totals 475.
5x88=440
4x5=20
3x4=12
1x3=3
440+20+12+3 + 4.7 = 475
Divide that by the total # of reviews received and it's 4.75
475/100 =4.75
@VLCoJewelry: In addition to the math by @WitticismsRus Etsy truncates to 1 decimal place so your score is correct at 4.7
But you do not write hundredths after the decimal point, but round, so rounding 4.75 will be 4.8.
You can see this (rounding) on other badges too.
They round down, not round up.
they definitely don't give a higher score than you earned.
I mean the badge for other months.
I counted this indicator many times a month and you round the indicators rather than write the first two digits.
etsy does not round up the reviews.
You have to get 4.80 or more (i.e. 4.81 + ) to get 4.8.
Even if you get 4.79 etsy will not round up.
Etsy rounds up review ratings. I confirmed this in my store over the month. And this was confirmed for me by the customer service yesterday over the phone.
Star seller reviews says it has to be 4.8 or higher
4.75 is not 4.8 or higher
I missed the badge for this reason, a couple of months ago
The calculation does not go to Nov3 30. The last two days of the month do not count for the next month. The last two days of November will count for January.
If you included any reviews on the last two days of November, remove them as they don't count for December.
And as far as I know Etsy does not round up or down. They simply drop the 2nd digit after the decimal point. That has been my experience.
dropping the last digit is rounding down
4.75 becomes 4.7 if you round down
4.75 becomes 4.7 if you drop the last digit
