I received more than all 4 qualifications for this review periods star seller badge and have all my criteria checked off on my page but on the top it still displays no badge. It says looks like you didn't earn any badges for December, but then below shows I'm on track for January, next chance tp qualify is January 1, 2023. Ive waited over 24 hours since all the checks and still no badge. Can someone explain this to me, do you qualify in one review period and then receive the badge in the next if you fulfill the requirements?
Also if that's true, how long does your star seller badge last? Do you need to continuously meet the requirements every review period?
thanks!
If Etsy has made an error they will not fix it for that month and will just tell you that you in good standing for the next month. Hopefully you will find your Star Seller Badge tomorrow, usually after 10AM EST. But, we are in holiday mode and it may take a bit longer for January.
@birchwoodlaneCo Badges are only reviewed and awarded on the first of the month. Today is December 31st. Yes, you need to meet the criteria on the 1st of every month. The full details of qualifying are right on your Star Seller dashboard.
The answers to all your questions are set clearly out in the information in shop manager under 'Star Seller', and have been for 18 months. If the star is important to you, make sure you understand how it works.
It says your next chance to qualify is Jan 1st. You will not get the star until Jan. 1st. They are only awarded on the 1st of the month.
Hold your horses! Its not January yet. Don't bother to keep checking until it is, because that's the soonest you can get it.
"shows I'm on track for January, next chance tp qualify is January 1, 2023."
It's not January 1, 2023 yet.... Check back tomorrow, when it's actually January 1, 2023. And if it's still not awarded, then wait 24 hours and check back again because it could take up to 24 to process after the month/year changes over.
Do you need to continuously meet the requirements every review period
Yes.
Maybe because it still Dec 31st!
Isn't it all 5 you need, you had one review in December and before that it was May, so I don't think you have qualified, unless I am wrong of course.
@OwlAlwaysKnit 1 x 5 star review in period would be more than 4.8 average for the review period.
Ah ok thank you @CappuccinoLace for explanation.
Why does everyone answering have to be so sassy and rude? Thank you for asking I couldn’t find a clear answer to these issues either.
