Star Seller Badge and Shipping

Star seller badge not awarded when it should have been… I had a local pickup that dinged my shipping (I didn’t know this would happen) but then I got enough orders to make up for it (mathematically). I needed one last order and I got two that I personally brought to the post office yesterday (September 30). I see today that it wasn’t awarded yet should have been…. This is so frustrating. Anyone else have this happen? Did Etsy actually help fix the problem?

Etsy will not fix the "problem".  Other sellers have reported the same thing.

Quite often the last few days drop off the Star Seller calculation.

I contacted Etsy via chat and she looked at my profile. She told me the system should auto-correct it in a few days. Fingers crossed it does.

Anything that happens on the last few days of the month may not be counted for that month.

The review period is until the last day of the month so that doesn’t seem right. I was told the system should autocorrect in a few days. We’ll see.

Hi There!

We determine what orders are included in the On-time shipping calculation by the order’s Ship By Date in UTC. So even though the order was placed and processed in September but Ship-by-date is October 1 and above it will be counted in October. Learn more about ship-by-date here.

It shouldn't autocorrect in the way that it gives you the badge, though. You'll just see that order in the October CSV.

You can read up on the star seller program and its criteria in your Shop Manager under Star Seller.

Thank you, I did. What I read said any data up until the last day of the month is used to determine Star Seller. So it should have counted.

How did you contact ETSY via ETSY chat....everytime I click on contact ETSY Support, I am never successful.  Frustrated!
