My Star Seller Badge is once again missing. It says that I did not respond to a message on May 20 -- this was two message streams from one buyer (using their name and as "guest"). I requested help on it two months ago and it was fixed -- but now my star has been removed again. I look at my messages on May 20 and there only shows one which I sent. Please how can this be fixed once and for all? Thanks
If it was two separate messages both would need a reply. It does not matter if the same buyer sent both messages. All initial messages need a reply or be marked as spam.
I just looked some more -- it is actually the same message issue from earlier -- the message was on April 14 and it is still causing me to lose the star seller badge. I hope this can be fixed -- this will be the last month that this message will be used to measure my service. Thanks
@SewSherel: "I requested help on it two months ago and it was fixed" That was very much the singular exception to how this is usually handled by Etsy. The Star Seller metric for messages is very simplistic and binary - either you replied to (or marked as SPAM) that first message of EVERY new incoming thread within 24 hours or you did not.
"Please how can this be fixed once and for all?" Unfortunately even if Etsy fixes the underlying data and the stats auto update, they do not do so retroactively.
