Star Seller Badge Calculated Wrong

So I finally downloaded my stats to see what I did wrong to get a 92 in response rate, then I went back and got the proof that I responded in less than 24 hours to at least 2 out of the 3 they had marked as no. I have the screenshots to show proof that I responded. I thought it was because I have both the old and the new app, but one response is in the old app and the other one is in the new app the dates I’m referring to are 8/15 & 8/30

The response on 8/30 doesn’t count in the last period. It will count in the current period.

Messages in the last two days of the month are added to the next month to give time for your  response.

If your stats are wrong- you really need to "show" etsy.. email them with your proof and give them a chance to review it. This forum is just other sellers we can't fix your SSP.

Etsy has said from the beginning that it takes 24 to 48 hours for Star Seller to update.  You can't count on the responses during the last 2 or 3 days of a month for your Star Seller stats.

You wouldn't want a message counted against you if it came on the 31st, but you didn't respond until the 1st, even though it was within the 24 hours. That is why they don't count the last days of the month. The message won't count until the 24 hour response window has passed. Then they still take a day or two to update. Kind of wordy, hope it makes sense.

Hi there!

Starting June 30th, we merge multiple message threads between users into a single message thread for any messages. The only exception to the single-thread rule is when a buyer reaches out via the Help With Order flow, at which point a new thread will be created and clearly labeled as such. If the member sends a direct message and a help request message, you'll need to reply to both messages.
