All of my Star Ratings Reviews by my customers have been 5 Stars. However, Etsy a few days ago posted a badge on my shop that gives it 4.8 Stars. This is very distressing to me.
I have messaged the help desk about this issue. I hope they correct my badge to 5 Stars to reflect my true level of customer satisfaction and service.

we all have that its says average review is 4.8 or higher. they are not going to fix something that is not broke , sorry
You have the review badge - 4.8 is the number to shoot for. It does not mean that's what your is.
Mine says “4.8 or higher”. That range includes the 5.0 average rating.
Thank you all so very much for your supportive responses. It’s still a bit strange to me because 4.8 Stars suggests a value less than 5 Stars. It suggests Stars are measured in 10/10ths units. However, our customers measure us in whole Stars.
So who is deciding how we measure up and by what measures other than our own customers. The whole thing seems to be complicated and not helpful. I’d rather NOT have a 4.8 Star Badge and just go with my 5 Star customer ratings. Does anyone else think this is strange? Maybe there is an explanation in the Badge Earning Section. I will look for one and share it, if I find it.
