Specific Etsy login error

I tried to set up 2FA today and in order to do so I needed to re-login to my account. I couldn't remember my password so I reset it. Once I reset the password, I tried to proceed to logging in to my account to set up 2FA but Etsy prompted me to enter a security code that I would receive via phone call. I never received this phone call and I tried over 10 times to login and receive it. I updated my device and software and tried initiating the call via the Etsy app, mobile site and desktop browser. Nothing is working.

I contacted Etsy support and no response. Please help.

For anyone going through this same issue, I've finally found the solution.

My carrier & device: T-Mobile, Android

Issue: I was receiving (most) calls but not Etsy verification calls.

Things I tried:

• Updated my software to the latest version
• Turned off my VPN
• Restarted my phone multiple times to no avail
• Located the old Etsy verification calls, made sure the number was not blocked and also added the number to my contacts (+17543003879)
• Made sure airplane mode was off
• Made sure do not disturb mode was off
• Made sure call forwarding was off
• Turned off WiFi calling

Things I did not try:

• I did not clear cache or cookies
• I did not remove and reinsert my SIM card

What finally worked:

1. Toggled SIM card off and on in Settings (I waited 7 seconds)

• Was able to receive one call to login (finally!) but then was not receiving additional calls to change 2FA and receive backup codes

2. Opening an app provided by T-Mobile called "Scam Shield" and turning that off to receive the Etsy call
