Spam messages DO affect my message score unless marked as spam immediately

Hi.

I receive multiple scam messages a day. I usually mark them as spam straight away but in the craze leading up to Christmas, I left 2 SPAMs in my inbox for more than 24 hours. Suddenly my message score went down to 75%, and it stayed that way even after I corrected my mistake.

Can anyone help with this?

You have 24hrs to respond to any (first) received message, spam or legit. If you are having problems responding in 24hrs, put on the auto-reply. I think if you mark a message as spam after24hrs, it 'might' correct for the SSP eventually but I wouldn't count on it.

@AgnesHigginsDesigns: If the unanswered new thread is not a Help Request, at least for the time being, it appears that marking an unanswered new thread as SPAM (even after the 24 hour deadline has passed) will cause your reply percentage to change in a day or two (but not retroactively) if the original message was within the current star seller period. Note that subsequent messages from that account may go directly to the SPAM folder.

@AgnesHigginsDesigns  When you're very busy it's a good idea to use the auto-reply message so you won't run into this issue again in the future. With this feature you will see the incoming messages and can respond to the necessary ones and ignore the spam ones. An auto reply does not count against the Star Seller.
