Spam message shows “From Etsy” bug

Etsy Seller app -> message has a bug/glitch. A spam from someone who is trying to phishing shows up with the official “From Etsy” tag after I opened up that message conversation (the official tag was not there initially, and it’s not there in the desktop web version).

I have taken a screenshot of this bug. How can I send it to Etsy support?

Everyone pay close attention cuz this is confusing and dangerous.

Is it in the "from etsy" folder? Check on a computer (not the app). If it's not there, it's a FAKE.

This has been going on for a year.

If or when etsy needs ID or financial info from you, it will always be a notice on your dashboard. They don't communicate via email or messages normally.

Thank You for the Heads Up. You said you are using the Seller App; in this instance, a legit Message from Etsy is supposed to have the "From Etsy" capsule on it. I've not used the App, but it sounds like this is what you describing. And it's disturbing your Message has this capsule, yet it is a phishing Message. Perhaps it would be a good idea to "at" Admin ModFabio.

ETA: Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding.
