Hello All: I just processed an order and something is not right. I just sold an item for $15.00 plus sales tax and shipping. The Etsy Customer shipping slip is correct with the final amounts. My shop shipping Invoice for the order is not right and looks strange. The $15.00 item on my shop invoice is listed as CA$21.95, the State Sales Tax has increased by .58 (CA$1.83) and the Shipping has increased by $6.95 (CA$20.30). I have never seen anything like this. I do not want to ship the order with this lopsided documentation. Can anyone shed any light on this situation. Thanks
You are i US and the Buyer is in Canada? The Packing Slip wil show the Currency in which the Customer paid and the Order Slip will chaow the Shop Currency. USD and CAD figures could explain the difference.
If your sale is to a Canadian address, you might want to hold off shipping until the postal strike is over. USPS is not accepting parcels going to Canada at the moment.
ALL: Thanks for the comments. The shipping address is to a US, verified address. So, could the purchaser be Canadian and they are shipping the purchase to a US address ? Never heard of third party Shipping? Look forward to your comments.
