I'm wondering if there is a workaround for this: every time I try to use the social media marketing feature offered by Etsy, I am forced to share only on my personal Facebook page Instead of directly to my business page, which I would prefer (and makes more sense). I created a post and attempt to share it from my Etsy to my Facebook business page. I have verified my Etsy shop through the Meta Business Suite as instructed by Etsy. And to no avail, each and every time I am forced to switch out of my business account and share it only on my personal Facebook page. This is a clunky interface as I would have to then create public posts on my very personal page in order to then share it to my business page-- and I have a number of reasons for not wanting to do this. Yes, I could simply copy and paste a link but I wanted to make use of this new feature. Is there a way to let the company know about this bug, and hopefully get a fix?
I believe that all business pages must go through a personal page as all your business accounts are managed by your personal page.
True! But it would be nice if I could directly link and seamlessly link my business shop with my business page, as that is the purpose of marketing. I want to reach a wider audience than just my friends, and not make my friends feel like I am simply advertising to them all the time —or seem like I’m expecting them to buy something from me. Also simply the privacy of being able to keep my personal page personal is important to me. That’s why an integration directly with my business page would be preferable.
@LaughingPebbleStudio Yes, I agree but I think it is all about verification of businesses via accounts of actual individuals so every business out there is accounted for. You can share it from your personal page to your business page but agree it is a faff!
I believe you are right. If you move your Facebook business page under a business portfolio you are unable to access it through Etsy.
I just copy and paste the item URL on my Facebook shop page.

When I share from my shop page, there is a drop down that lets me choose either my personal account or one of my business pages.
When I share from the Social Media page, I can choose my personal account or one of my business pages.
Thanks for your response! It is as I suspected – I should get that option but I do not. It tells me I need to switch my account from my business page to my personal page. My hope was that I could share directly to my business page. I wonder if it is a matter of the browser I’m using? I’ve been trying it in Chrome. I will see if another browser works.
I'm on Chrome as well. Weird. I wonder what I'm doing differently for it to work for me and not for you.
Actually I used to have that option but lately I'm prompted to add a page although I already have 3. It will only share to my personal account. The option for page is no longer there
@MYWEDDINGAVAMANSHOP: Please do not SPAM the forums with shop links - it is against the Community Policy (you have read them, correct). Just as a point of information for the future, when you share your shop link do not include the "?" or anything after it (just https://www.etsy.com/shop/[INSERT_SHOP_NAME])
Having the same problem and unable to solve.
I am running into a similar issue. I am able to see only one of the Facebook pages in the dropdown, even though all are selected in the setup. If I try to just select the one Facebook page I want to connect, Etsy will say that I don't have any Facebook pages set up for my profile (which I do, I have four). What's most strange is that this worked fine about a month ago and now it doesn't work.
Same here. When I try to share to my facebook page from my social media link in Etsy it prompts me to start a new page which I already have 3 pages. It worked a few months ago and now I do not have the option.
Same here! I have 2 business pages and the option to choose one of them doesn't come up anymore. This issue only shows up when using Etsy.
Well... good to know I'm not the only one struggling with this
I just got off chat with Etsy support and they said it is a glitch problem they are working on, so nothing we can do. Hope this helps
