I'm unable to get to Step 3 when trying to create a social media post. It gets to Step 2 but the button at the bottom is greyed out. Thoughts?
I have since found that if I go to the Etsy Seller app on my cell then click LISTINGS, then pick a listing then I can choose the SHARE LISTING and pick either Pinterest or Instagram. Not sure if all phones are similar.

I have never seen "steps" when posting to social media. Not sure what you mean.
The steps I'm taking:
Shop Manager
Social Media
Create A Post
My Latest Listing
STep 1 of 3 - Create Post
Step 2 of 3 - Choose networks ( I chose Pinterest)
Then the Post and Continue will not light up to continue to Step 3.
If I choose just Instagram it will light up but then tell me that it will push a notice to my phone which it doesn't. I have the Blue Etsy Seller app on my phone.
I'm having the same issue. Thought I was doing something wrong. I've always been able to post to Pinterest but now doesn't seem to be working.
It used to work on the old seller app, but when they switched to the new one it broke. I have reported it multiple times, but no response...
I've had issues with it working right since day one. Etsy's take: "known issues, working on it." I don't bother with it anymore. I post directly to social media sites. I also only work from my laptop. Too many issues with cells and apps.
@PeanutFarmGallery I have been having the same problem for a long time. Instagram social media posts cannot be made on the website!
It was working for me until about a week ago, now I can't get reconnected to Pinterest. No idea what is going on.
I see the Facebook logo with a spinning cursor, like it won't load, and I can't post to anything else as a result.
@PeanutFarmGallery I messaged pintrest and here's the reply...
I'm Nana and I’ve reviewed your query. Thank you for sending the screenshots.
We're always trying out new things behind the scenes at Pinterest. At the moment, it is not possible for users to claim an Etsy account to a Pinterest account, this is expected behavior. You can still create Pins that lead to your Etsy products even though the account claiming option is no longer present by using the PIN BUILDER TOOL and using your Etsy product pages as destination links for the Pins.
While we can't go back to the old format of being able to claim an Etsy account to a Pinterest account, we truly appreciate your message.
Thank you for your patience,
Nana
As the Pinterest representative said, this program is now defunct. You will have to go directly to Pinterest to make your posts,

I have found this works too, but is very frustrating that it's the only option. Etsy, please can we do it from a pc?
I am encountering an error while attempting to connect my Etsy shop to Pinterest. The error message I receive is "400 Oops! At least one scope must be requested."
@AMLeathers Since this is an older (and unrelated) discussion, you'd be better off to start a new discussion.
So since the Pinterest is defunct. I wonder if it is the same thing for Twitter now because I haven't been able to post from social media on Etsy to Twitter for over a week now.

Why is there the option if you can't do it? once again, it's fixing something that did not need to be fixed, it's the same thing with all 'new tektology', the old never worked right, so they just make something new, that's worse.
I pin via the share listing link in shop manager (gear icon under listing) ... it works for Pinterest, but it doesn't work anymore for FB/IM. When that happens, I just copy the link and post it manually on the various SM sites.
The problem with going to a listing to share it to social media is that there's no option to post about a sale. My whole shop is having a sale for the holidays but I don't have the social media button in the seller app to be able to make a post about the sale in general, so frustrating!!
I have the same problem. But I can't get it to link my accounts, it's the eternal loading spin.
Are any of the Social Media connections working ????? The Etsy Sellers App is only connecting to Facebook story for the last 3 days after they updated the app to fix bugs LOL guess it's another screw up by their IT persons.
I have created a way to do hundreds of pins a day to many many groups - the best bit ? It does it all automatically - so - i'm doing what many others do and im building a course on it - it does WAY more than just PINS, it posts to hundreds of FB groups, DM's linkedin connections, posts to twitter, insta, and a million other things.
