Hi Etsy,

Is there a problem between Etsy and Pinterest? Are our social Media pins from Etsy going to Pinterest?

This is what is coming up in our shop and don't know if it is only us or is a problem with all of Etsy shops -

Under the Shop Manager Page -

left column - Marketing Tab

Click on Marketing Tab - then select Social Media

Top Right Hand Corner says Guideline and Tips, Social Accounts and Create Post

Select Social Accounts -

Under that tab it says "We are working on restoring Access to Pinterest" 

Is this only in OUR shop or is this every shop on Etsy. This has been like this for months now. Are we wasting our time pinning to Pinterest, as it seems like the pins are going there, but according to this notice, they maybe aren't? We never see any of our new pins on  Pinterest, only very very old ones of items sold years and years ago, and we used to get a lot of business/sales from Pinterest, now it's dead. 

Is this an ongoing issue, a problem that needs resolving or a technical issue that has never been addressed?

Can you please check on this?

@shabbyshopgirls  I pin by clicking on the listing, then the Pinterest icon, select a board and pin. It always works that way.

The spot under marketing has not worked for months.

I either do it from the listing in the listing manager or from the listing in shop page.  Both work.

You should make your own pins from scratch! Etsy owns the one form the pin button!

I pin using the SAVE & SHARE link ... I love the discounts Etsy gives us!

Etsy pinterest links are not working at the minute for a lot of shops. I only know as i checked mine and a few others and it comes up with an error, so no click throughs happening. I have same message from Etsy 'they are working on the connection' I used share and save but none of these are linking back now either. Wondering whether we may need to add each pin directly on Pinterest and manually add the link back to our shops?? Who knows as no info out there that i can find. Will keep looking! or maybe ask Etsy chat if you can get through

I always do them from scratch on Pinterest and just copy the listing link....
