When viewing stats on the dashboard I’ve noticed that my shop views increase and then decrease throughout one day. Eg at 10am I had 34 views, 11am I had 29 views.
Is this a glitch or could someone kindly explain how this occurs? Thank you
A glitch meaning the views and visits change or a glitch in that reporting can be slow or no-existent at times.
Views and visits do change every 3 to 4 hours. Views are filtered to remove Bots. Visits change because views change. So that is normal.
The absence of stats happens from time to time. It doesn't bother me since the only stats that really count are the 30 day stats. If you want daily Google is a better way to go.
Views and visits aren't in real time, they are updated every few hours. When they update any bot views are taken out so it isn't anything unusual for the views to go down at that time. Happens all the time. Sometimes there may not be any bot views and others can be several.
Makes sense. Thank you
The world might change.
There's definitely a glitch, after contacting them with numerous emails back and forth they finally got it working...FOR A DAY. I'm back to the same issues, this is so frustrating! It's funny because from what I've been seeing a lot of sellers are having issues and when I asked if etsy is having problems they told me no. Unbelievable

Until 3 days ago, the total number of visitors to my store was around 420. Yesterday, the data showed a smaller number, perhaps 397, and today the count, which includes all visitors since the beginning of my Etsy activity, dropped to 301. I have logical suspicions of hacker interference and possibly Etsy employees abusing their right to intervene in store operations on your site. My suspicions grow, given that I often receive messages from anonymous "experts" trying to sell me advice on how to profit from Etsy. It is evident that there is unauthorized interference in my store, as the total number of visitors has decreased by about 25 percent, which is absurd. Moreover, I paid for advertising the store, and instead of increasing, the visitors are being deleted. Please help and explain what is happening.
