Hi,
New seller here - all verification is done. Policies / shipping etc has all been added.
I created a shop and listed 472 products - all listings are "active" and there are no issues with the products. However my shop and all 472 listings are not showing up in search?
No response from Etsy email support for over 3 weeks. Live chat keep telling me "this has been forwarded to our specialty team who will be in touch shortly" - but no one gets back to me. Never seen such an incompetent customer service team.
People can only view my shop and listings IF i provide them my URL https://www.etsy.com/shop/cosmeticyardShop. My friend was able to get to the checkout stage.
I can't even close my shop as apparently I owe $200 in listing fees? Why should I pay for listings that don't even show up.
Any ideas or advice on why my listings aren't showing up in search?
Thanks!
Looking at your shop, you have a lot of medical claims in your listings. As making any medical claims is strictly prohibited on Etsy, this could be connected to the issue in question.
Your pictures are also not of the item for sale. You are not selling an apple, for example. As Etsy rules are that you must accurately represent your items, and that the first image must be a photo of the actual item for sale, again this could be an issue.
Even if these are not affecting the current issue, they are important and so fixing them is definitely worth doing.
Howdy!
I see that our support team has recently been in contact with regard to this issue.
Moving forward, they will handle this case directly with you, so please check the most recent email you have received and respond to it should you have any questions.

seems to have posted reply twice
you shop isn't indexed
When a shop or a listing is created on Etsy, it will usually be included in the index fairly soon, if not right away. But sometimes a shop or a listing can be de-indexed because of a technical problem. If that happens, your shop might not be found in search at all

Just hopped on live chat again asking them to index my shop. Same old response "we have forwarded this to our dedicated team who will email you.."
All you can do is wait for Etsy to deal with your issues, but unless you get through to that 1 person who actually is able to do something expect read from a script and send a copy paste reply, you may have a long wait.
I would try live chat again, most of us lucky sellers never even have the option of a live chat or call back option
Anything more than 3 days is a long wait. waiting 3 weeks + for a response it's just ridiculous
Maybe one of the moderators could send it through to the right department for you, not sure when they are about though.
@nta58flx9piiejnb can you help?
@FabioMcMustache Can you help?
This is just a guess, but they may want to look through your listings for anything resembling medical claims, Making medical claims for your items is a policy violation. A quick spot check of a few of your listings turns up some stuff that might be close to the line, if not clearly over it. Your listing for the the caffeine clearly claims medical benefits.
This was my thoughts too.

That was my first thought also. I just woke up and haven’t had my coffee yet so I was really confused. The photos look good but now I really want some blueberries.
I cannot speak to the issue of the shop not being indexed other than to ring Etsy's bell again. Notorious for slow and even no responses to issues raised by sellers, Etsy is not a seller-friendly platform.
That said, I'd like to suggest OP request a shop critique in the Shop Critiques forum while continuing the indexing issue. $500 for an unknown quantity of apple juice? Seems outrageous.
