Jump to solution

Hi

This the second message I have received stating that my shop:

Hello dear seller!

A customer wanted to purchase a product, but an error occurred while placing an order. The system writes “Shop is not fully registered”.

The system says that you need to recheck the store

What should I be doing or who can I contact ?

Are these fake messages ??

This is not a helpful reply.  Is a "shop not fully registered" a legitimate problem?  If so, how does one fix it Is this a common place scam? The message ends with an entsy.com link NOT hot linked, rather requiring cut and paste and then it takes me a 404 site.

Move it to the spam folder and keep being vigilent, they tend to target new shops.

@ArtHaas

Do you not understand? Is a "shop not fully registered" a legitimate problem?

NO

This is a SCAM. You have been contacted by a SCAMMER, not Etsy.

You are extremely lucky that it took you to a 404 page and not their scam website, where they will ask for your financial details . Put these in spam folder where they belong.

Please reread ModAngie's reply to you. IT DOES tell you how to avoid these scammers.

If you receive an actual order, you will see it in your "Orders and Shipping" section and you will receive an email from Etsy notifying you that you have a sale, and there will be a notification in your dashboard as well.
