Since yesterday, many German shop operators no longer have access to their Etsy shop. Error message 429.
I'm forwarding this problem, I'm not affected myself.
Some have tried to reach support via different email addresses. This is not possible. You are repeatedly reminded to use the chat function. Unfortunately, you cannot use the chat function due to the inaccessibility of your shops. Urgent request to Etsy Support to solve this problem quickly, as some people already have overdue orders and are of course upset.

Wir sind ebenfalls betroffen und können den etsy support nicht erreichen. In der Anwort auf die Mail zum etsy Support wird auf den Chat Button verwiesen, der nicht erreichbar ist. Zugang haben wir lediglich noch über das Handy. Dort gibt es den Chat Button nicht. Was kann getan werden?
Etsy also seems to use the 429 error when they block an IP address / VPN.
"We only have access via cell phone." Have you tried your mobile browser?
Alle die das Problem haben, haben mehrere Browser ausprobiert und bei einigen ist die App nicht betroffen sondern nur die Browserversion. Etsy ist sich des Problems jedoch jetzt bewusst und arbeitet an einer Lösung.

If using a VPN, Etsy is not very accommodating for VPN. I had to turn mine off to access Etsy and I'm in the US.
