Shop not accepting buyers to purchase

I have contacted Etsy for months now about my shop not taking payments from buyers to purchase. They keep saying the buyer is using a bad card. Not true. None of the buyers who have contacted me have declined cards. I had a family member try to order on a GOOD card and would not accept. The message to the buyers state "all payment methods for this shop are temporarily unavailable." All of my financial info is current and verified. This is an Etsy technical problem but they continue to charge me listing fees when I am not able to sell. My ticket number is 18726516. I have a half dozen more, but this was the most recent one.  

Cannot even get in touch with Etsy anymore via phone or Chat. Are they going out of business?

When I went to check out it says that all payments are temporarily unavailable. You will have to contact Etsy about that.

Take a screen shot of your Shop Policies on your shop home page and send it to Etsy support via the open support ticket. If you don't know how to take a screenshot I can do it for you - just direct message me via my shop first (otherwise Etsy may think it's spam and block it). 

This will show them that your payment method icons are missing and perhaps that will help to communicate what the problem is more effectively.

@TheMoodyReader2: The issue appears to be that you have no payments available in your shop. Perhaps a silly question, and while you may have had your financial data verified, did you complete the process to enroll in Etsy payments? https://www.etsy.com/payments

"They keep saying the buyer is using a bad card." Sounds like artificial intelligence hallucinating. First off, it is illegal for Etsy to tell a shop why any specific payment failed - presuming that support would even have access to that information.

 Thanks but that link did not take me anywhere that I haven't done months ago. Confirmed all my info today and will need to check again. It's not saying the buyer has a bad card, the shop is saying all payment methods for this shop are temporarily unavailable to the customer. If I was missing a payment method, they should have advised me of that 6 months ago. When I do get in touch with them, they assume everyone buying from my shop has a bad credit card and blame the purchaser. Etsy should know what is wrong or missing and advise me. Still trying to figure things out.

Are all of these people all family members and friends?  Or just the one person you mentioned in your post?

Are they purchasing from your shop using any of the same wifi you are using?

If so, Etsy's system sees it as you trying to purchase from yourself.  The system will not allow these purchases to go through.

Don't keep opening new support tickets -- that just closes all previous ones and sends you to the back of the queue

Keep replying "I still need help" to the one ticket and eventually you will get to an actual person who is able to resolve the problem

Maybe contact one of them, who's shop is now open and ask them how they did it? I'm sorry Etsy customer service keeps giving you the run around.

Thank you for telling me that. Too many people are quick to judge me or my customers. I have 2 other shops and have never had issues. I know how to set up shops so this was a game changer for positivity.

Is it there a chance that some of these customers did too may refunds or claims that they haven't received their packages before with Etsy?

Because after a certain amount of claims they get blacklisted and can't purchase no more. Many stores started to implement these kind of methods because people take advantage, claiming lost packages.

Sometimes it seems that people just want to "say something" whether or not that "something" is relevant and factual. But, oftentimes, these comments derail the Thread and give newer Sellers incorrect advice.
