Shop & Listings Not Showing Up in Search

Hello!

I made my first shop a little over a week ago. Both my mom and I on different devices cannot find any products or my store itself when searching in the search bar. I have tried copying and pasting the names of my listings and have also typed in my shop name exactly as it appears (theprintcobyaimee). 

I have read that it could be because my shop is not yet indexed. I did reach out to Etsy support for help but have yet to receive a response. Is this my only option or is there anything else I can do in the meantime?

Your shop is not indexed.  You can check by searching within your own shop for words you have used in titles/tags.  Sorry but only Etsy can help you with that.  Unfortunately Etsy customer service is notoriously slow so be patient.

I’m glad to get a second opinion that it is not indexed. Hopefully Etsy will resolve the issue soon. Thank you!!

The only way is for you to contact etsy by opening a support ticket. Make sure the title is "shop not indexed".

Same problem.. , i see now that your shop is indexed , i tried to contact etsy support 3 days ago but no response yet... 

how did you solve it ?

I believe it took some time for my shop to be indexed on its own. I did reach out to Etsy support but I think it resolved itself before they did anything.It took about 2-2.5 weeks in total. Hopefully yours will be faster!

My shop goes live on 3 oct 2022, facing the same issue, anybody here knows how much time etsy takes for indexed my shop,

@ArtsByArtisans Reselling is not allowed on Etsy!  Handmade means personally made by you, not by another person or company!. Your shop is not fully set up and is certainly not in legal compliance with Etsy policies … the same policies you agreed to abide by when setting up your account!

Hi, im not sure if this is the answer to your particular issue but when setting up an Etsy shop they send you a minimal payment to your bank for you to verify your account (a bit like paypal) I think this comes as either an email or message from Etsy.  If this is not done then your shop will not appear. Hope this helps.
