Shop Rating is shown incorrectly

Hello, in our customer service statistics it shows that our average rating is 4.8. However in the etsy app and in the general overview it shows 4.6 since almost a year and is not moving. Could someone please help with this issue? Thanks

Are you looking at the star seller rating (last 3 months) or the over all shop rating (last 365 days/12 months)??

Whilst the data is not entirely separate, the ratings for each time period are displayed in different ways e.g. You may have 4.6 over all, but 4.8 for the last 3 months.

I checked on the app and your over all shop rating is 4.64

The customer service page shows the current/next review period (3 months).

Thank you, I am talking about the overall rating. We are surprised as we did get almost solely 5 star reviews from June 2024 on and the overall rating has still not changed.

you have several low star rating in just the last 3-4 weeks so I really don't think your rating is wrong.

1. If you want to check the calculations you can download all your reviews here: (Settings > Options > Download Data) https://www.etsy.com/your/shops/me/download
2. Convert the resulting json file to a csv file: https://data.page/json/csv
3. Then you can open it in Excel (or other spreadsheet application) and inspect or do the calculations yourself.

Note: Remember you need to delete/ignore anything more than a year old.

Overall rating is going to go up anytime soon with 2 - 2 star and 1 - 1 star review this month alone.
