Shipping score going down even though shipping on time with tracking

Hi everyone,

My customer service stats were sitting at 100% for everything and then two days before review my shipping stats have dropped to 95% and then now 91% overnight. I'm shipping things out early since I read about the timezone and I shipped 4 or 5 orders yesterday a day earlier and it's dropped another 4%. All my items have tracking as they are commissioned paintings, What's going on! I ship using Royal Mail.

download the csv to see which ones etsy things are wrong, and whether it is tracking or a time issue they think it is.

I read the CSV, I think I have 1 order without tracking which was some art prints, if I add tracking to these orders the cost of shipping will be double the cost of the art prints (overseas orders) so I didn't think it was necessary as I can just replace them if anything happened. Does Etsy expect you to put tracking on every single order? Because people will not be able to afford it. If I tracked my cards also, the shipping will cost more than the card and I can no longer offer free shipping! Because of this one order, will my score keep dropping over night? I'm worried as it's gone down 9% in just a few days?

It's buy with tracking, OR buy the labels on etsy.

So use etsy labels

also, the QR code is all etsy needs in the tracking field, it doesn't require expensive tracking, so for domestic, you can buy royal mail click and drop, and enter the QR code on etsy too.

Thank you so much for your help, so for example: if I bought untracked royal mail 2nd class through Etsy labels, Etsy would still count it as having tracked as I bought it through them (or their own version of tracking)? 

I wish I knew that before, I was 2 days away from star seller

yes,

They also have a QR code for 2nd class, which is scanned on delivery (which click and drop royal mail does too) 

and buying 2nd class from etsy does count as good for star seller
