Shipping metric for star seller is possibly incorrect?

I am UK based and usually do not post or work on weekends, I am pretty certain this is reflected in my store settings too and always has been, as typically most of my listings are 2-3 day dispatch time and if the customer orders on a Thurs/Friday for example - the order would automatically update itself on my end to Monday dispatch and always has.

Recently, I had an instance where someone ordered on 16/08 (Wed), their estimated dispatch was 19/08 (Saturday) (3 day dispatch on the item in question) but obviously, in my previous experience this carried over to the Monday for me, and now my metric has taken a couple of % drop on delivery/dispatch when as far as I was aware based on my past experience this has never happened before (and I regularly get people ordering on similar days e.g Weds, Thurs, Fri) and it carries over to Monday automatically.

I'll often check on a Saturday morning to see if anything has been ordered to make a list of what needs to be made, shipping will show as due for dispatch but on the evening it'll update to Monday and there'll be no warning that it's a late dispatch (no red writing etc on the order screen) unlike this one did which was quite confusing to me and I thought it was just a bug that would sort itself out over a day or so.

It's not low enough to lose my rating but it is quite frustrating since I purposely get stuff out before or exactly on time, the dispatch times are purely in case I'm backlogged and need to make to order.

Was wondering if this is something that I can somehow get rid of or get some help with, especially as I mentioned before I do not typically work on weekends, it's a bit of a game-changer for me as this has never happened before in my experience.

Go to Settings -> Shipping settings and check that the Your order processing schedule is set for Monday-Friday. Some sellers were caught unaware when this feature was introduced a little while back.

Hi you should contact Etsy support for an explanation and see if they can remove it as it might be a glitch

How can I contact them? I find it really hard to find anything, it all just links back to the knowledge base. I wouldn't have even posted this usually - it was just my only option sadly!

Just out of curiosity have you looked at the days of the week processing thing that Etsy rolled out? It's under shipping settings and you set your processing days there, M--F or all 7 days. I know mine was set to all 7 days as a default but I only ship M-F and have a 3-5 days processing time to cover holidays and the rare occasion I get to leave my studio so I promptly changed it. 

Check it and if it's the full 7 days, you can adjust it to M-F
