Shipping labels- Failed to Purchase

Hello, is anyone having trouble with printing shipping labels? I keep getting the pop up box, "You just purchased 0 labels. 1 label failed to purchase".  I've cleared my cache. I've logged out and back in. Tried a different browser. Not sure what else it could be.

I'm in Ontario, just west of Toronto. Five minutes ago I still couldn't purchase labels to ship to the States. I was able to buy labels for overseas shipments. Very frustrating.

I'm going to grab a screen shot of what the Etsy payment would be buying the label on Etsy for each order that I may have to take to the post office today.  That way the difference in the payment amount is clear, in case it is needed as proof.

Was told the same thing. Not going to hold my breath for renbursment. I guess I'll just use my Canada post small business account.. I'll eat some of the shipping but I need to get these out. Changed my dispatch times aswell because who knows how long this will take to fix...

To be honest, I don't trust Etsy to reimburse us for this. Small Packet to the US is working this morning so I'm using that and explaining what's happening to my customers.

I reported this yesterday morning (Sept 2, 2024) and received the below incredibly unhelpful response from Etsy support. Note to Etsy: would be great if your team could provide info on what they are doing to fix the problem (is the technical team aware? Are they working on it? Is there an eta for fixing it? Why did this happen?), rather than just a vague "they're probably working on it" response. This is an incredibly important issue: I will lose my Star Seller badge if items aren't shipped on time, but I will have to pay DOUBLE the shipping cost if I'm not able to purchase labels through Etsy, decimating my profits. The response provided makes me feel very brushed off. Please do better.

I had to laugh when I read that. We jump through hoops, especially to keep up with the ridiculous "Seller Badge", and we can't even receive an empathetic response when it's a fault on their end. Can't they just sound like human beings at least?

I'm having the same issue and it's driving me crazy.

I have a few orders that need to go out today but purchasing directly through Canada post is close to double the cost.
I hope they fix the issue soon but I'm not hopefully as I've need customer service to fix 2 issues on their end in the past and I'm still waiting for them to fix it lol.

I noticed some other posts mentioned that the labels are working if you purchase "small packet air" instead of "tracked packet" (assuming you are shipping from Canada to the US). It is a few dollars more expensive, but still better than purchasing through Canada Post if you have items that must go out today

Still not working sadly. Wish canada post would offer the same discount (small business) to work on their website so we wouldn't lose so much on the shipping if we have to ship with them since etsy doesn't seem to be going somewhere.

I just called them again. I figure let’s hound them with phone calls so they actually take this seriously! He said that they are aware of the problem. They are working to fix it. He said try again this afternoon. He doesn’t have any more information, but he says Etsy is definitely aware of the situation and is fixing it. I figure the phone calls better.

Finally worked!  Changed my first order to US small packet which cost a little more and now able to print shipping labels for US tracked packet which it wouldn't let me do.  Never had this issue before so hopefully it is resolved.

I can now buy labels BUT the CN22 customs glitch is still present.

I was finally able to print a Tracked Packet, from Canada to USA.

I'm in Ontario and was able to print all of my tracked small packet labels shipping to the USA. Glad that it was fixed. I hope Etsy looks into how they relay information in the future on glitches that effect a large number of sellers rather than leaving them in the dark. They also need to better inform their front line, live chat staff when these issues arise. Happy shipping everyone!

Shipping to the USA from canada works now! We can finally get back to our regular day and hope there is an explanations regarding this from Etsy.

I get it was a long weekend and being down for more than 2 days is unacceptable and shop keepers like us still decide to work with our passion to keep our customers happy.

Glad this is finally resolved for the time being.

Was just now able to buy 8 labels (tracked packet to the US), seems to be fixed! Or at least, temporarily fixed
