Shipping labels- Failed to Purchase

Hello, is anyone having trouble with printing shipping labels? I keep getting the pop up box, "You just purchased 0 labels. 1 label failed to purchase".  I've cleared my cache. I've logged out and back in. Tried a different browser. Not sure what else it could be.

Any help would amazing!

Did they give you a timeframe? They told me they were unable to give me that and recommended I extend my shipping date or use a local service.

Yep, in Canada, same as of 20 minutes ago, got one printed, now the other... NOPE - failed over and over.

Same! I'm in Victoria BC and I can't print any labels for US bound shipments. It let me print one for a Canadian order though:(

I am a Canadian seller in BC I am having the same issue trying to purchase shipping labels through Etsy. Getting the error message. 0 labels purchased. at 9:30Am PST  Monday I contacted Etsy though chat - they didn't know how to resolve. They said I could purchase through Canada Post - its a lot  more expensive.  3 hours later  -now 1PM PST  - -I tried contacting chat again  - no response at the moment

I'm getting the same this afternoon. I'm in Ontario. I spoke to an Etsy rep on the chat about 3 hours ago. At first she wasn't aware of any issue but then, after I sent a screenshot and she spoke with "the team" she said there was an issue and they were working on it. She said "If the same error appears(X label(s) failed to purchase) on the second attempt to purchase, you will need to purchase a label from another source." I contested this as, if I have to use another source I will likely be charged more than Etsy charged my customer (I do not offer free shipping) which would leave me out of pocket for something that is Etsy's issue, not mine. She replied that "If you need to get the label from another source let us know and we will try to help you just as one time courtesy."

Same, We reached out to support. They confirmed there is a wide spread issue however he said they don't have a time frame for the code fix. He also added the last time an error like this happened it took them about 72 hours to resolve...

Canada Post did make changes over the weekend: https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/cpc/en/our-company/news-and-media/corporate-news/closures-and...

which often leads to issues with outside labels.

@WhitetailRoad @PeonycottageBoutique I would say "Sure! How is Etsy going to compensate me for the difference in price that I pass on to my buyers?"

I'd want a guarantee of getting the difference back, not a vague promise to "try to help"

No, they didn't mention that they would compensate me the difference. I'm not using another source to get my labels. I charge shipping according to the Etsy label discount. I am nickle and dimed enough here on Etsy. It's getting tough to make a living.

Typical Etsy, "purchase from another source".  Unless Etsy plans on reimbursing me for the difference I won't be purchasing my labels from another source, thank you very much.  They nickle and dime us to death,  I'll call Canada Post first thing in the morning, don't know if it will make a difference, but if we inundate them, it might move the needle.

Overseas labels are printing fine, labels within Canada are printing fine.  I am only having difficulties with printing labels to the US.

Has there been any update on this from Etsy?
