Shipping Notification not working for one order

I had to ship out two orders via Canada Post yesterday and when it came to sending the buyer shipping notification, one went through fine and the other won't allow me to. It says that the Canada Post tracking number I enter isn't a valid Fedex tracking number even when I've selected Canada Post. Is anyone else having this issue? Please help.
