My shipping labels, since yesterday, are downloading completely out of order. I've tried changing the sorting of my orders, and seeing if that has any effect, but it does not.
This is a long time off & on issue on Etsy. I first reported labels printing out of order way back in 2016. The issue would come & go over the years. I use PirateShip now so I don't need to worry about this. But when I still bought labels on Etsy, I would process labels in smaller batches. That made it less frustrating trying to "match up" labels with orders. Nothing I could do would ever fix theis issue. It is not a browser or settings issue. It's just Etsy.
Downloading out of order? Guess I don't worry too much about the order in which the labels are downloaded or even printed. I just select the orders that need labels, purchase them, then print them all out at once along with the packing slips, and then I match the label & pack slip to the correct order before packing. Sorry, I may not be understanding your dilemma correctly.
@TBQSC If you print a large amount of labels 2-UP, they will print jumbled, out of order. So if you scroll down your order page, the printed labels will NOT be in that same order. They are completely jumbled. Not alphabetical or by date. Just random. At least that is what I experienced years ago when I had this issue. Doing 40 labels at a time was a nightmare. So I would just print in batches of 4-6 labels at a time. That was easier to manage since I didn't have to shuffle through labels & match them up with my orders.
Etsy is making a large effort in encouraging shops to meet "Etsy’s customer service standards" You would think Etsy would support shop owners by making sure the website functions efficiently.
This particular Etsy glitch could lead to a customers receiving the wrong order, delaying quick shipping times -- the very things Etsy is warning to avoid.
