Anyone else experience the shipping label date printing wrong for the next day? Last night I printed off my shipping labels and I'm quite sure that I requested the shipping date for my shipping labels to be for today June 28th, but when I looked at all my shipping labels this morning the date is for tomorrow June 29th. I would like to know if anyone else experienced this, or did I really make a mistake in selecting tomorrow's date?
If I made the error, then I may be able to cancel the shipping labels and repurchase them again. Hopefully this won't happen again. So I am going to wait a few minutes to check and see if this happened to anyone else first. I need to ship my packages today or they will all be marked late. I would appreciate your quick response. Thank you.
Hello @beadazzledaccessory,
We've double-checked the Shipping Labels that have a ship date of June 29, 2022, and it appears that you purchased them on June 28, 2022, at 12:03 am EDT. It is possible that you selected June 29, 2022 as the ship date , upon purchase. We strongly recommend double-checking the ship date prior to purchasing.
Thank you very much!
I wouldn't depend on forum answers - I would check with my post office to see if they will be accepted with a future post date or if it will make any difference if they are accepted.
I printed labels last night for today and had no problem. They were all dated the 28th.
Thank you for your response. I appreciate your comments.

It should be fine, I've done it before, and they are accepted
The date won't matter. If you drop them off at the post office today like normal they will get scanned in and delivered. Or if you are concerned you can take them to the counter or to the machine you can scan yourself and scan them in. If you mailperson will scan a form you can print one out.
I frequently have packages I send that have the next date on them. Sometimes I intentionally move the date to the next day and then realize either I didn't miss my mail or I end up going to the PO and it causes no problem at all. No need to cancel these and repurchase.
It could mess up your Star Seller metrics ... if that is important to you, I would reprint the labels so it doesn't show as you posting the orders late.
The post office doesn't care, but etsy will punish you on their star seller stats, they will say that you mailed it late.

So, if I make a mistake, and select "Today" as ship date, but realize the post office isn't even open today (holiday), should I re-purchase all of my labels? Why doesn't Etsy automatically take holidays into account, when selling USPS labels??
I would not worry about the difference of 1 day...UNLESS you are concerned with factual shipping days as to however it relates to star seller(I am not a star seller/don't care about the star seller program and never have to concern myself with any of the hoops one has to jump through to attain it/maintain it and work with it)
