Sending reminder to leave review.

I purchased an item on Etsy and I got a reminder to leave a review.  I have two shops on Etsy and was wondering how I can send a reminder like that to my customers?

The seller does not send the reminder, Etsy does.

Really, a single followup email asking for feedback in the form of a review.

You shouldn't bug the customer about it. Etsy already sends them a reminder. A lot of people don't know HOW to leave a review. In each order I include my business card, and on the back I have instructions how to leave a review. But I never directly ask for one. If 1/4 of your customers leave reviews, you are probably doing better than average.

All the buyer needs to do is go under Purchases under You.  The order is right there,  If the stars are present they can leave a review.

When a buyer logs in they may get a review reminder which they can fill in then if they want.

1. Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your account. On the Etsy app, sign in and tap You. 
2. Go to Purchases and reviews.
3. Find the item you want to review.
4. Choose the star rating you want to give next to Review this item.
5. Describe the item and/or the service you received. If you're on Etsy.com, there is a five-word minimum for your review. If you're on the Etsy app, there is no word minimum. 
6.  Upload an optional photo to accompany your review.
7. On Etsy.com, select Post Your Review. On the Etsy app, tap Submit.

Agree with AAA.   Most people are too busy to go back & leave reviews.  I have received orders where the packing slip in with the order has a nice little paragraph from the seller about me leaving a review (I don't do that although I do put the packing slip in with the order).

This is correct. I've opted out of all but only a few emails from Etsy. I never get reminder emails for reviews.

I still get the reminders for the reviews though I am opted out.   I only get one and can easily ignore it,

Aren’t reviews important? Isn’t that based on Etsys algorithm?

I had a whopping 2 sales my first month and one couldn’t leave a review until after 4/12? Something Etsy did? Which is annoying because I made the item and shipped it with in 3 days if the order received. She loved them but said Etsy blocked leaving a review? I guess it doesn’t pay to be on top of orders, shipping them on time.

Yes I hate that! So my 2 sales have no reviews. If you can't leave a review right when you open your package, there's no incentive to go back and do it days later. Therefore my potential sales in the future may not want to purchase because lack of reviews.
