Sell on Etsy app crashing with new ios 16.1

When you open the Sell on Etsy app, as soon as you tap a listing to view, you are crashed back to the desktop.  I've tried many suggestions from users, but so far nothing works.  

- I have the latest version of the Sell on Etsy app and Apple ios

- I've deleted and reloaded the Sell on Etsy app

-I've off-loaded and reloaded the app to clear cashe

- I've done a force reset of the iPad Pro running ios 16.1

- I've confirmed that I have plenty of storage space available

What else to try?

We’re having the same issues, have tried the same fixes including resetting the network and restarting the phone. 

any help would be greatly appreciated since the new Etsy app doesn’t have all of the functionality of the old app.

Having the same issue. Crashes when I try to follow a link in a customer message; crashes when I try to save a listing description. Filters don't work, etc. I am unable to list any items for the foreseeable future I guess....nice.

I've never used the app nor mobile (always the same desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10).  But I've seen several Threads where the app can be glitchy.  I don't understand the whys and what for's being that Etsy is pushing the app.  I'm really sorry you are having trouble.  You have to be able to work.  Maybe you could try uninstalling then reinstalling it, or use a browser.   Hope something helps all of you having difficulty.

Seeing the same thing here! Very difficult to get work done away from my desk top. Hope a resolution is forthcoming!

Exact same issue here. So I took a shot in the dark, went to my App Store, typed sell on Etsy, and it said update under it. Did that and all works fine now. Which is so odd because I never have to update an app. My phone automatically does that, and this was right after doing the new iPhone software update. But it did end up being that. Finally works now. Hope this helps

My app never has the ca-ching sound. I had to download a similar sound and upload it as the shop notification! LOL The app is not that good on Android. Hoping it gets better!

I had the same thing. As SaturdayLemon suggested, I did the update in the Apple Store (had to open the app page to see the update button) and it worked for me too. Now to see if I can edit a variation without it locking up. I couldn’t do that before the update.

Do your listing in CHROME...I gave up trying to do them in Safari. I have a brand new Mac with plenty of space and speed and in Safari the new app kept crashing...right dow to “add listing” ruining an hours worth of work.
