I recently changed my phone number and have been trying to sign into my Etsy page however it wants to send a verification code to a number I no longer have or have access too. Please Help how can I change it?
@CrookedCrochetCorner: Unfortunately in this case the two factor authorization (2FA) is working exactly the way it is intended to. At the time you set up the 2FA you were offered the opportunity to download backup codes. If you did that you will be able to use one of them to log in. Otherwise you will need to contact Etsy to reset your account to enable you to log in.
You can use one of the six security codes you were given when you put the two-step verification. One for logging in and one for turning of the two-step verification.
For next time.. If you download the Google authenticator, it backs up your codes to your Google account, which is ideal if something should happen to your phone.
For now, you will have to contact Etsy if you do not have your backup codes
