I’ve been trying to get into my account but it has my old phone number. I saw someone else’s thread and the solution was to create a second account so you can contact Etsy support? Why? Why can’t they just give you the option of getting the code sent to your email instead? Other companies have that option. Now I’m locked out of my account even after changing my password. I can change my password but not my phone number? Makes no sense. Then you can’t receive help unless you sign in? This company is frustrating. Now I can’t access the digital item I bought now.
Use one of your backup codes.
@Ochatori: At time you set up your two factor authorization (2FA) you were given the option to download backup codes. If you did that, you can use one of those to log in and then you can change the 2FA telephone number of your account.
I've been trying to get into my account they keep sending a code to the wrong phone number so I can't get into my account. I am paying for this account and can't access it. HELP! HELP!

You can use one of the six security codes you were given when you put the two-step verification. One for logging in and one for turning of the two-step verification.
