The drop down list in shop sections is not working for me. The buttons are inactive. Anyone else?
So I got off the phone with Etsy support and now they say there is nothing wrong, works just fine, they thought there was something wrong but they were mistaken nothing wrong at all LOL
They said I could reinstall the app or clear my cache. I have cleared all my cache for both web browsers, I have reinstalled both Etsy apps but nothing works

I always wonder what is up with their programming... always has bugs! Very annoying
Phoned Etsy support again, I guess the reason they couldn't see an issue is because they were using a laptop to check it. It's the mobile use that's an issue. I'm not worried about desktop stuff, most people are using mobile devices to view Etsy. Telling my clients to go home and use thier desktop to view my store is not a great option
It doesn’t work on desk top either. I’ve tried all devices
@PurityGems When you say mobile, do you mean an Etsy app or the browser on a mobile device?
I mean everything on the phone, chrome browser, Samsung browser, sell on Etsy app and also the Etsy seller app.
I have found that if I install the old fashioned buy on Etsy app I can navigate through the sections... but it is useless because if I use that app it overrides the browser and you can't edit or manage your shop. All I can do with that app is look at my pictures and discriptions with no features at all
I’ve been trying to shop for supplies and it’s been a nightmare! The shops I go into have thousands of items and not being able to narrow it down to a section makes the shopping experience incredibly difficult.
Not sure how other customers are feeling about it but I can say my visits and views have plummeted today.
Fwiw, I’m using the actual website (not app) on my iPad. (My husband has the same issue on his phone)
I guess it saved me money since I gave up trying to shop around, but I haven’t made any sales either.

You can narrow it down into section by typing what you’re looking for in the search box above sections,but I’m not sure if this misses out some items. i.e. in my shop if you search “bracelets” it does just show bracelets. That’s the solution I’ve been working around. I use previously listed items in sections to duplicatenew listings. It’s a pain going through listings and searching there to copy, it’s a few more steps in an otherwise simple process. Sections is a very valuable option for all. Can’t believe we are now in day 3 of it not working. I use it every single day so know exactly when it became unavailable.
Very odd - we just tried Firefox, Chrome, and Brave browsers on both Windows 10 and Linux and cannot replicate this problem.
probably using a desktop, I have no issues with desktop either, but like I said very few people are using desktop
A few weeks ago I started putting links to individual sections in my listings. Originally I thought it would be nice for my clients, I never imagined I would need it to navigate through my shop LOL
How did you find the url to the sections?
Just went to sections and copied the url from the search bar

Same here, didn't see your post and posted myself before but my section stopped working and my sales have took a huge dip after being up 60% all year consistently I'm dropping under 50 for the whole year just from whatever's happening these last couple weeks.

Mine aren't working on my mobile now either - and I tried clearing the cache - made no difference!
I’m having trouble as well! Using iPhone safari browser. Works fine on my Mac. This is terrible if customers cannot click on our shop sections when using their phones browser.
And the Contact Etsy is showing “Whoopsie!” Etsy is having a hiccup… frustrating. Anyone able to contact Etsy for this issue?
