Search not working for me....

I'm not sure if it's me but since last night I only get 433 vintage pottery listings? It's only on my desktop.

I normally get over 900000. Other searches also seem low.

Can someone please check? I already tried everything I can think off.

@Lululovesmod  - I typed "vintage pottery" into the search bar & results totaled 1,109.

"Pottery Bowl" - 3,296 results, filtered for vintage - 222 results. "Pottery Vase" - 1,770, filtered for Vintage - 448.

This is not something I normally search for here on Etsy, so I don't know what to expect.

***I also entered "richard peeler pottery" into search. Results = 1,667 - filtered for vintage - 1,262. 
If all of these items should be in vintage to begin with, then it wouldn't surprise me if Etsy's search tossed in a few potato peelers & who knows what else in the non-filtered results. (Though maybe in the vintage results too, lol.)

***As a positive - in the "all items" results, 4 of your listings were on page one. In the filtered/vintage results 6 of your listings on page one. 

Editing to add - using a laptop/chrome - no apps/phone.

I just searched "vintage pottery" and got 341,292 results (i'm on a desktop, firefox)

It might be the filters? I get the same number until I change it to pottery and add the vintage filter.

Sounds like a test, and not a good one, unless your listings are some of the few remaining in the result set.  I see it in one browser, and not another.

Some examples (search terms entered as shown, without quotes, without clicking to view vintage in all items, etc):

vintage pottery: affected browser returns 1109 results; unaffected browser returns 341,000+ results

pottery bowl: 222 results vs 48,000+ results

pottery vase: 448 results vs 129,000+ results

Both tests were using different browsers, one logged into my account (that one shows the "normal" results), and the other incognito.  I didn't test the app.

Exactly!! I started to do for my usual searches and most came up very low!

Another possible clue ... in the severely restricted search results, almost all the organic (i.e., non-ad) results display a "Etsy's Pick" badge.

ETA - one more clue:  I'm seeing it only in relatively large searches.  If I get more specific, e.g., pottery bowl blue flowers, I see the same number of results in both browsers.

A search for 'vintage pottery' returns 211,558 results, with Ads 
The word vintage was removed and the vintage filter was applied automatically.

Check that you don't have any other filters applied. (e.g Etsy's pick)

Check your location and 'ship to' settings have not changed.

Try again and use the vintage filter instead. The number goes way down.

And yes, I checked and did everything I can think of.

It wouldn't surprise me if Etsy isn't tinkering with search yet again. (Note I say tinkering, not fixing, lol)
Normally if I enter a search term starting with the word "vintage" - "vintage abc item" - I am automatically in the Vintage category.
But recently I have noticed that if I'm forgetful & fail to enter "vintage xyz item" in my next search - use "xyz item" - Etsy keeps me in Vintage.

However, if I have the time to continue & decide to enter yet another search term - "lmn item" - Search results are for "All Items" & I must filter for "Vintage". 

Back to my "vintage pottery" search - the 1.109 items - on the results page I see 8 circular photos with "pottery mug", "pottery vase", "pottery bowl" etc. & these are active links, apparently to take me to more specific results.

Next I have a row of 6 specific listings - titled "Etsy's Picks".

Then I get into the results - 16 rows of 4 items. Four of these rows in total are Ads. 
39 of the results are labeled "Etsy's Pick".
The vast majority of Etsy's picks on page one either offered "free" shipping, the shop was a star seller or a combination of both. 

Amaradorn mentioned filters & locations. I never filter down to "USA" only or any locations. I don't see a filter option of "Etsy's Picks". I rarely, if ever, filter for free shipping, on sale, star seller or price. Since I have found the "sort by" preferences to eliminate relevant results I rarely use those.
