Scammer proliferation could be considered a technical fault

Etsy reply needs to lift its game and start identifying members better. All I'm getting is never ending messages from scammers. I don't have any issues on Amazon because members are identified better.

Sadly enough, I agree with you.  And I'm very sorry you've been receiving this garbage. I've been on Etsy since 2011, and have never seen anything like what we've been experiencing.  These thugs are targeting new Sellers as well as seasoned ones. Etsy does need to up their game big time.

Re: Scammer proliferation could be considered a technical fault

Etsy seems to be under some sort of attack. Scamming goes on anywhere people can communicate but something is definitely going on here. It started maybe a month ago.  Of course, before there were scams but they were very small scale and you rarely saw people post about them in the forums.

Sorry you have to deal with so many spam messages. It's disappointing and creepy to get a message only to find out it's someone looking to steal your money or even identity.
