Scam or not?

Hello everyone, I got this message

I don’t understand, is it a scam? Because i’ve got many messages they all wanted my mail, and this one wants it too…I’m really confused.

And they change the game again. Now mentioning why it won't appear in your order page. Have to smile at "a link to a site" didn't even say etsy...

Definitely a scam. If it's from Etsy there is a separate tab/section "From Etsy" so make sure you pay attention to that.

This is a scam. Thieves are pretending to be Etsy staff. This scam has been ongoing since at least July 2023. Messages from Etsy will show up in your mailbox titled "From Etsy".

Real Etsy staff will never ask for your email address because they already have it. Also, any actual orders will show up on your dashboard. If the sale is not displayed on your dashboard, you don't have a sale.

Don’t respond or provide any personal or financial information. Don't click any links that take you off the Etsy site. Send the message to spam.

If you have provided any financial information, immediately contact your bank to report fraud on your account!

@LaliRazma: It is NOT an order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.

Be sure to mark the message as SPAM so that it does not affect your stats.

As others have said, it is a scam, mark it as spam in your message folder. I sincerely hope that others are not still getting cause with this. I detest scammers.

Etsy has your email.  Why would they request it in order to send you a link?   If Etsy needs to confirm or verify anything, Etsy puts the request on your shop dashboard.  Anything you need to confirm or verify is always done directly from your shop dashboard.  Etsy does not send links for you to click.
