The discount and thank you code I prepared for customers who have shopped from my store before is not being sent to anyone. Why?
I don't know how you set it up but mine prints on my packing slips.
I'm talking about the emails that Etsy automatically sends. Although I prepared a thank you code, it didn't reach anyone. I think I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for your answer.
Check to see if you put an end date to the discount. You may have done so and have forgotten if it's been a long time.
If people opt out of getting promotional emails from Etsy then Etsy won't send it to them. Include it in your note to seller. Most people don't use the coupons even if they receive them.
I have been having the same problem for a while now. For years it sent my buyers a thank you discount email which they used quite often. It suddenly stopped sending them and I have not idea why and cannot find a way to start sending them. Did you ever find a solution
Discount codes are only sent to buyers who have specifically opted in to receiving offers. Contrary to advice given on Facebook and YouTube, many buyers are sick and tired of the constant reminders after making a purchase and actively switch them off.
By law, unless the individual buyer specifically gives consent to receiving offers, you cannot send them, and Etsy obeys the law.
