Customers purchasing through Pattern have their orders go through (and payment taken), but are not receiving Order Confirmation emails or Dispatch Notification emails. Affects a noticeable number of Pattern orders, but not all.
Anyone having the same issue? I am wondering how widespread this is.
It's been 2 months since I've initially reported it to Esty Support, but no fix yet. Started noticing this issue from late May/early June 2022. Customers are understandably confused and have been reaching out.
Apparently from an Etsy response from 21 Jun 22:
"Yes there is an issue that we have found for members checking out from Pattern when using a credit card."
And on 12 July 22: (with an "updated" response, perhaps related, but not quite the same issue of Order Confirmation emails)
"Our engineering partners are currently aware of an issue where some buyers are unable to checkout via Pattern sites. We've added your report to the ongoing investigation so the team can take a deeper look into what's going on. At this time, we do not have a timeframe for when this issue will be resolved, but please know that we are actively investigating this situation."
Evidently they have not fixed it yet.
