Hello, when I have a order, send them a proof and if they answer me through the “help request”that it is approved, there “help request”message is not attaching to the order. It is a different thread. It is getting very confusing. Is there away around this?
Sounds like a buyer mistake.
I think something is different because I have had this happen about 5 times in the last 24 hours. I don’t remember it ever happening before.
Must be the new and "improved" Etsy messaging system!
If you go to the help request message you can see the order and all messages but if you go to actual order none of the help request messages are there. It seems backwards. I would rather have the messages with the order.
Currently it appears that the way the messaging system is functioning is that all "new" messages from an account get attached to a single old thread (if there is one) and that thread appears on all orders from that account EXCEPT for new help requests which always create a new thread and do not get attached to any order. For us, this is not an improvement in managing messages.
This is awful. I would rather have it back the way it was.
@CandyWrappersAndMoreWe totally agree - the "improved" system that allegedly makes it easier for us to manage messages is much more work than just answering every message with 24 hours.
