Sales and Discounts

I currently have an active 30% off sale for US customers, however, I just had a US customer make a purchase and the 30% discount was not applied to her order (she reached out to let me know).  I checked to make sure the sale is active and everything is correct, so not sure why the discount is not applying to the order aside from it being a technical issue.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

I carted items in your shop and got 30% off.  Don't know why it didn't work for your customer.

Thanks!  It's so odd because the items are showing as 30% off in my shop and in the cart, however, her order that I received does not show the 30% discount.

Well, I just received another order and the 30% off sale did apply to this order, so not too sure why the other order did not have the 30% off applied.   Hmmmmm??

Did you just set up the sale right before she ordered?  I would refund the 30% and contact Etsy.  I think they should know especially if there is a delay between the time the sale is visible until the time it time it takes affect.

The sale had already been running since midnight (several hours), which is what makes it so odd.
