STAR SELLER seems to be inaccurate in the message response area

Hi,

My star seller response rate is at 95%.  It states I didn't respond within 24 hours to a message from Karen on 7/11/2022.  When I researched this, I DID respond the same date she initially asked me for help (7/11/22).  Can this be updated to 100%?

Hey There!

 

Last July,  we consolidated multiple message threads between users into a single message thread for any messages received on or after June 30th. The only exception to the single-thread rule is when a buyer reaches out via the Help With Order flow, at which point a new thread will be created and clearly labeled as such. To be eligible for the star seller, you'll need to reply to both direct message and help request messages.

@moldyoldies  :  This is a seller peer to peer forum, not a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes post here).  Did you respond using an Etsy app? The are reports of issues with message replies from the app. At least for the time being, it appears that marking an unanswered message as SPAM (even after the 24 hour deadline has passed) will cause your reply percentage to change in a day or two if the original message was within the current star seller period.

I have the same problem. Also I have customers in Spain, UK and others where the time difference is different.

@moldyoldies, @linsart 

you can always turn on autoreply in your messages, and keep it, so that the buyer gets a reassuring message that you will answer personally shortly.

Then, make it a habit to reply as swiftly as you can, and never wait until the 24 hours are almost over.

Reply to ALL initial messages, to each of duplicate messages, and to "thank you" msg from sellers.

Then you should be fine.
